Vietnam's over

This song is incredible.  JMT has outdone itself and R.A. the Rugged Man has one of the best verses in memory.  The only strange thing about "Uncommon Valor" is that it came out just a tad late.  Then again, the rhymes are ill, and the message is timeless.  And the Nixon speech at the beginning is a nice touch.

You don't really wanna fuck with me

A dope track from one of the greatest albums of all time.  Em and Xzibit are great live performers, and in the words of Mack 10, "It ain't a hit til Nate Dogg spit."

Do his plastics still say Kayne?

Kanye's new album, which should be titled "The Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy of too many featured Rappers," has been received with great fanfare.  The first track, Dark Fantasy, has an ill instrumental contrasted with awful rapping.  If someone can find any effort put into the catchy lyrics: mercy, mercy me, that murcielago, I'm missing something.  Another bone to pick is with Nicki Minaj's narration at the beginning.  Ever since Kid Cudi's Man on the Moon that had Common narrating in between songs, I guess it's been cool to say nonsensical things before an actual song starts.  And I swear that this song has as many false endings as the third Lord of the Rings movie.  Did Common pass on this beat?  Well, you didn't really make it into a jam, Kanye.

Fifty, you tight

A great diss track from a few years back.  Never the king of New York, you live in Connecticut.
